Join us! Consilium® Consultant Training and Wellness Retreat in Panama!

The Consilium® Institute is proud to announce our partnership with Phoenix Resilience and Tribe Mind Body Wellness for a one-of-a-kind combined Consilium Consultant training and Wellness retreat on the beach in Bocas del Toro, Panama October 1-9, 2023!

“We’re incredibly pleased to offer this unique opportunity for attorneys who will expand their knowledge of the Consilium® Institute’s Better Way to and through the divorce process for their clients, and who will also learn to incorporate the five pillars of wellness for themselves at this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The attorneys who participate in this training will become Consilium® Consultants, and take their work to the next level in their communities. Phoenix Resilience and Tribe Mind Body Wellness are great partners for attorneys who are trying to help their clients, and themselves, have a more balanced and healthy approach to family restructuring,” according to Consilium® Institute co-founder Judge Julie Field. “The combination of Consilium’s® innovative approach to transforming divorce for families and Phoenix Resilience and Tribe Mind Body Wellness’s thoughtful approach to the five pillars of wellbeing is the perfect partnership to help attorneys understand more deeply how transformative Consilium® can be for their work.”

Phoenix Resilience was founded by Siobhan Seymour and Marshall Spring, both retired law enforcement officers who will share their powerful, personal stories of overcoming PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, depression, and anxiety. Siobhan shares great insights in her teaching: “I’m not a typical resiliency coach or instructor. I’m different in that I’ve done the work, I’ve sat in the darkness and loneliness of mental health struggles. I know the challenges some of us face, both inside and out. It is my goal to empower individuals to take control over their wellbeing and their lives by providing them hope and helpful tools to mitigate their stressors and achieve the best version of themselves.”

Psychotherapist Emily Garcia brings her own extensive experience to the training and shares her passion for understanding well-being to the attorneys who enroll in this course: “I believe in the power of connection and wanted to create a community of people who together find belonging. Consilium® carries out that powerful model of connection, and I am so excited to be part of this retreat.”

“Panama is the perfect backdrop for this week-long training and retreat,” reports Consilium Institute co-founder Heidi Webb. “Consilium® is grounded on transformation – the transformation and restructuring of families after divorce, and the use of specific tools to make the divorce process better for all involved. Getting away from the distractions of the office will aid in that transformation. We’ll be doing more than just teaching lawyers how to use the Consilium® tools as Consultants– we will be focusing on change and practicing skills and using hands-on tools with the cohort members so that they can understand the fundamental changes for clients, and the changes that Consilium® will bring to their own work, and they will come back home ready to implement Consilium’s Better Way.”

“This is more than just a beach vacation with a few classes in between swimming and sunning, though that is part of it,” explains Marshall. “We go into the community. We learn about the island. We share meals featuring local cuisine, and spend time outside, hiking, swimming, connecting, and focusing. We will practice the new Consilium® and wellbeing skills together during our time in Panama. I have found the time I have spent there to be restorative, and transformative. I can’t wait to share it with the lawyers who are doing this important work for families.”

This Consilium® training and retreat has brought together a remarkable faculty. Julie notes, “I have worked with each of the members of this faculty. Every one of the faculty is a brilliant, engaging teacher and mentor, who have enormous amounts of wisdom to share. It’s incredible to have these nationally recognized speakers come together for this program. I for one can’t wait to learn from the others, and from the participants.”

There are a limited number of slots available for attorneys who want to take advantage of this exceptional opportunity. Cost: $7,895, which includes training and certification as a Consilium® Practitioner ($4,995 value offered here with a $1,000 discount), the first year membership in The Tapestry, Consilium’s netweaving organization ($795 value); accommodations in Panama, ground transportation, airport transfers, meals during the training, and excursions. Flights, some selected meals, and incidentals are not included.
